Ship Unloaders
Structural stress and vibration for Ship Unloaders is a critical cause of mechanical failures over time. Robust electrical systems are also critical using catenary cabling and cable support systems that withstand thousands of movements per hour.
Logitech Engineering design complex electrical systems for any application, including PLC automation, operator control stations, safety systems, AS4024 compliance, remote controls, and SCADA interface.
Operator control stations require good visibility for the operator in all light conditions. Infrared cameras mounted at stretegic locations along the boom provide visibility for the operator during day and night. Automatic collision detection and avoidance systems prevent the machine from colliding with the ships hatches and cranes.
LNG Loading Arms
From 2011 to 2015, Logitech Engineering assisted John Holland to build and commission the three LNG Loading platforms on Curtis Island:
